The institution is most efficiently run and managed by the Congregation of Sisters Servants of Our Lady of Sorrows founded in Florence, Italy in the year 1854. The members of the Congregation have extended its service to various countries and in 1988 to India. Since its origin the sisters have devoted themselves to the service of educating the children and young people, especially the poor and the needy. Drawing inspiration from Sorrowful Mother, the Heavenly Patron, responding to the needs of the time, is still pursued with unflagging spirit the service of education under the ample guidance of Delegate Superior, India.
