Rules and Regulations
ADMISSION

Registration and application are made in prescribed form by the parent. for class 1 admission, a child must have completed 6 years. Parents must produce Birth Certificate from panchayath/corporation. You may also bring Aadhar Card only for verification. Those seeking for admission to class 2 and above are advised to appear for an entrance test conducted by school. Admission is restricted depending on the availability of seats/ vacancy and after Test/ Interview.

WITHDRAWAL

Generally the withdrawal of the of the ward is possible at the end of the year and for this, application for Transfer Certificate must reach the office a week in advance. In case of withdrawal in the middle of the year without three months notice, all the dues for the notice period of three months will have to be paid.

The principal may request the parents to withdraw their children, in the unlikely event, if they do not fit in with regulations of the school or are capable of improvement. In such cases only fees up to the months of withdrawal will be charged.

ACADEMIC YEAR

The academic year is from June to March.

SCHOOL TIMINGS

The school hours are from 7.45 a.m. to 1.45.p.m for all classes from Monday to Friday.

VISTING HOURS

Principal: 2 PM. – 3PM
Parents can meet the concerned teachers after 1.45p.m. on every Friday.

ASSESSMENT / EXAMINATION / PROMOTION.

Assessment is based on a series of written & oral tests, work sheets, and project work and class activities. School conducts four assessment tests and two semester examinations. Promotion will be based on the cumulative performance in all test and continuous assessment. Progress card of each examination will be signed by the parents at the ‘Open House’ arranged at the school. Pupils who absent themselves from the examination will be considered as having failed in the examination concerned.

The Principal has full authority to detain a pupil if his/ her conduct or progress is found unsatisfactory. Pupils found guilty of malpractice in the examination will be given suitable punishment.

ATTENDANCE

Every Pupil is required to put in an attendance not less than 80% of the total number of working days in the school year. Absences without leave letter will render the pupil liable to punishment at the option of the principal. Every absence must be entered briefly on the leave record pages of the diary by the parent. No student will be sent home even if urgent need arise unless accompanied by duly authorized person. Unauthorized absence for more than 15 days will lead to removal from the roll. Students are not allowed to go out of the campus during school hours including recess time.
